Entry Requirements

There are three key requirements to be accepted for enrolment in St Philip's Christian College Gosford.

These are:

Acceptance of the Christian ethos of the College

Christian education is committed to Academic and moral excellence, and involves learning about, acquiring and practising Christian values and a spiritual relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. This relationship is expressed in part, in such things as prayer, bible reading, attending church and a sense of confidence and purpose in one's life.

Students accepted in St Philip's Christian College Gosford will be expected to co-operate and participate in these activities as well as fitting in with the family with whom they will be staying. By signing the Values statement within the application form the student is agreeing with the above explanation.

English proficiency

               Primary:              Entry Test

               Years 7 - 9:         Entry Test

               Year 10:               IELTS 5.0 or equivalent

               Year 11-12:         IELTS 5.5 or equivalent

St Philip's Christian College Gosford is very pleased to be able to offer students an on-site Intensive English class. Student's will be able to achieve the required standards to enable movement into our mainstream classes.

Academic Standard

• Students need to have demonstrated consistent above-average academic performance
• Students need to provide translated academic results for at least 2-3 years
• Students conduct at their previous school needs to have been at a consistently good level to fit in with the environment of a Christian College
